Why this exists
The first reviews are the hardest. An app with zero ratings barely gets downloaded, and without downloads it gets no ratings.
Asking friends and family rarely fixes it. A burst of reviews from the same city, in the same week, from accounts that never review anything looks like a fake-review ring to Apple and Google. Many of those reviews are silently held back or removed, and the app can get flagged.
Reviews from real developers spread around the world, who actually installed and used the app, are the ones that stick. That's what one day on this calendar gives you.

Your app is shown blurred until its day, so nobody reviews it early and there's no spoiler.

On the day your app is revealed. Fellow indie devs download it and leave honest reviews.
The rules
- Indie only. The app must be live and have fewer than 1,000 ratings across major storefronts. We check the store when you book.
- One slot per app per 6 months. Every app gets one iOS and/or one Android day every six months. Cancel any time before the day if plans change.
- One iOS + one Android app per day. Days are UTC. Bookings open up to 30 days ahead.
- Smallest app wins the day. A booked day shows the booked app's rating count. If your app has fewer ratings, you can take that day. The booked app moves to the next free day and its developer gets an email. Days less than 3 days away can't be taken.
- Karma. +10 when you review a featured app and hit "I reviewed it", +5 when you book a day. Top indies are listed above. It's an honour system, so be honest.
- Say where you review from. Your profile has your store country, so developers can see which storefronts their reviews land on.
- Real usage, real words. Install the app, use it, then write your own review. Copy-pasted or same-day-same-city bursts are exactly what the stores filter out.
- Honest reviews only. Try the app, write what you think. Fake or paid-for reviews get apps removed for good.
- Return the favour. If you book a day, review the apps featured on other days. That's the whole idea.
